Indian Canyon Women's 18-Hole Golf League

Indian Canyon Pace of Play Guidelines

The main purpose of the golf pace of play guidelines isn't to pressure you; rather, it's to establish a smooth and consistent rhythm for all groups on the course. Below are the guidelines we adhere to during our rounds to ensure an enjoyable experience for all members as well as the groups following our League play.

To ensure an enjoyable and time-efficient round for everyone, please adhere to the following pace of play practices:

Play Ready Golf: Be prepared to hit your shot when it's safe, regardless of traditional honors.

Be Ready to Hit: Keep an eye on your shot and be ready when it’s your turn. This includes having your glove on, club selected, and pre-shot routine completed.

Keep Up with the Group in Front: Your pace should align with the group ahead of you, not just staying ahead of the group behind.

Decide Club and Yardage While Others Play: Use downtime wisely by assessing distances and selecting clubs while others are hitting.

Hit Your Ball, Then Search for Others' Lost Balls: Prioritize playing your shot before assisting others in finding their balls.

Efficient Cart Management: Drop your partner off at her ball, then proceed to your own. This minimizes delays and keeps players engaged.

Move Promptly to the Next Tee: As soon as you finish putting, move efficiently to the next tee box to maintain momentum.
